Lodging & Dining
Lodging
Families will stay together in our rustic, camp-style bunk cabins—perfect for a true McDowell adventure! Each cabin offers simple comforts and plenty of charm, creating space for connection, laughter, and rest after full days outdoors. We’ll do our best to honor family co-bunking requests. All guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult staying in the same cabin. While camp staff do not stay overnight in cabins, an on-call team member will be available if needed. All cabins will be shared with other families, and we joyfully accommodate all types of family arrangements—whether it’s the whole crew together, moms of boys, both parents with one child, girl dads, and more!
All cabins have heating and air conditioning split units. Each cabin sleeps between 12-18 people and has 2-3 showers, sinks, and toilet stalls.
Dining
Three kid-friendly meals a day are prepared by our talented food service staff and served family style in Eppes Dining Hall. Our food receives the highest reviews! Certain times of the year, the dining hall incorporates fresh vegetables and eggs from McDowell Farm School.
