For those of you who are 73 or older and may be taking a Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) from a qualified independent retirement account (IRA), you might want to speak with your financial advisor about a qualified charitable distribution (QCD) as this direct gift to Camp McDowell may help you reduce your tax burden. Another way to reduce your tax liability is through a gift of stock directly to the Camp McDowell. Bring books to donate when you come to camp! This annual book-drive has been a ministry since 2006. Make a difference and a BIG impact by helping us collect as many gently used or new books for children and teens as possible to be distributed in the Black Belt region of Alabama. Drop them off at The Camp Store anytime!
