Summer Programs
McDowell Summer Camp
With roots since 1923, our summer camp program is one of the oldest in the country. Each summer camp session features a unique theme designed by a priest from the Diocese and program staff that provides daily, age-appropriate programs and activities that incorporate skits, songs, art, and a healthy dose of humor. These programs encourage learning through scripture, the traditional teachings of the church, and personal and contemporary issues with themes ranging from the environment to discipleship.
Bethany's Kids
Bethany's Kids is an inclusive camp that welcomes rising 4th-8th grade campers of all abilities to come to camp with the assistance of Camper Buddies (10th-12th grade youth) and adult staff.
To sign up to volunteer as a Camper Buddy please contact the Summer Camp Director or Abilities Coordinator: summercampdirector@campmcdowell.org or abilitiescoordinator@campmcdowell.org
